1. Do you know for sure that if you died today, that
      you would go to Heaven?   Yes  -  No

2. If you were to die tonight and stand before God
    and He asked: "Why should I let you into my  heaven?" 
       What would you say?
 
    The right answer is found below.

Grace
Heaven is a free gift (Eph 2:8-9)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.  ESV

It is not earned or deserved  (Rom 6:23)
3 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  ESV

Man
Is a sinner   (Matt. 5:48)
8 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. ESV

Cannot save himself  (Prov 14:12)
12 There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death. ESV

God
Is merciful--Therefore doesn't want to punish us (Jer 31:3b)
I have loved you with an everlasting love  ESV

Is Just--Therefore must punish sin (Ex. 34:7)
7 keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation."  ESV

Christ 
Is the infinite God-Man (John 1:1, 14)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ESV

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. ESV

He died to pay for our sins and buy a place in Heaven for us. He offers it as a free gift. (Is 53:6)
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.  ESV

Faith
Not intellectual assent, nor temporal (James 2:19)
19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe -- and shudder!  ESV

Is--Trusting in Jesus Christ alone for our salvatin ( Acts 16:31)
31 And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."    ESV

If you have not seen it by now the answer to the 2nd question is faith / trust in Jesus Christi alone. You can ask Jesus into your life by praying the prayer below.

Pray:  Lord I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life.  But I now believe You died and forgave my sins. I now trust in You alone as my Lord and Savior.   Amen
